I use KBB, EdmundsTMV, NADA to occasionally check current value but this gives me an idea of what to expect in the future. It’s based on Average condition but given my maintenance and low mileage levels I’d look at good-condition value. Helps work out some realistic UnnecessaryCarShopping™ numbers.
You do need to have a (free) account and provide your vehicle details though.

I like their credit report and check but have never tried their car value tool. I think it’s newish for them.

Their “Auto” section is probably a year-ish old. I like CK because it was super helpful in helping me building a strong credit score . Been a use r since 2010

Are they really doing their own calculation or just using data from one of the others? Not that it really matters, just might be redundant.

I’d say they get everything from NADA. Seems to be so looking the fine print in the screenshot, plus this is what NADA does best, doubt CK would go through the trouble of doing all this work.
I don’t think this predictive feature is available to everyone who goes to the NADA values calculator so this a an alternate source to get that.

By the way, if you have a credit freeze like I do on a regular basis, CreditKarma won’t like it, so be sure that’s at least temporarily disabled when you want to sign up for it.

I can run a free credit score for you. Just give me your name, phone number, address, date of birth, social security number, bank rounting #, bank account #, etc.

Ok then if your 2nd paragraph is true then you’re getting some added value from CK regardless then.
Caveat to me is that I think all of these guides are useless for cars beyond a certain age.

Results seem conservative, recently traded in a vehicle which matched KBB very well, this one was about $4,000 - $5,000 below that value.

NADA is always on the lower side, KBB seems to be higher. I use all 3 sources mentioned in the post , plus look at listings in a 100 mile area when I go to trade in.

That makes sense. I do the same as well, I check local market values, though hard to tell what they actually sold for.
Also, what the dealer gives you on the trade in they can take away in other areas such as the new car price, loan rate, etc. Give you great on trade buy get you in another part of the deal.
